About Meg Taylor

Meg Taylor is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She specializes in Play Therapy and working with children and their families. Meg has always had a passion for helping others and a heart for children. 

Her goal is to create a safe environment for all, where every client feels supported and understood, so they may resolve conflicts in their lives.

Meg graduated from Converse College in Spartanburg, SC, with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. She later returned to Converse and received a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy.

During her Master’s program, Meg also received 2 years of extensive counseling experience in the Spartanburg community. She spent time at Middle Tyger Community Center offering her therapy services. During this time, she worked with children and adults of  all age groups.

In addition, Meg was a member of the Residential Life Staff at Converse College. Through this role, she counseled college-aged women through a variety of social and mental health issues.

Meg also has a passion for sports that stems from a decade of sports training and her experience as a successful collegiate athlete and former coach. Now, she uses this passion to work with local sports teams on team conflict management, team building, and personal conflicts.
